March 2021 Newsletter

News from Anders:

Dear Members,

After a rough arctic winter blizzard storming through the Texas hill country last weekend I am looking forward to a beautiful Texas spring season with all of the Clubs activities in full bloom. On Monday March 8th we will begin to resurface our courts. The process will be completed in three phases over a two week period barring inclement weather.

Phase 1: Courts 9 & 10 along with pickleball lines on courts 7 & 8

Phase 2: Courts 5 & 6

Phase 3: Courts 1 - 4

Court space will become limited over this time period and we apologize for inconvenience but the courts will look fantastic and play great upon completion. I am very excited!

Finally, I want to wish all our USTA and WTTA teams best of luck in your matches this month and a big Thank You to all our team captains for your hard work organizing the teams.

I look forward seeing you around the Club

After the snow storm Joe & Samuel worked tirelessly for days rebuilding pipes & fixing water leaks so the Club could turn it's water back on. We are so lucky to have them!

Welcome New Members

Message from Membership Relations:

Dear Members,

I think we can all agree that the Club is thriving and we are busier than ever. We now have 160 members and our goal is 200. The growth of Dripping Springs has brought our Club so many great members. If you have friends or family that would be interested in becoming a part of our POLO family, please send them my way!

Stay warm and I'll see you around!

Be on the lookout for more information!

The Polo Tennis Club has never seen so much snow & ice in the history of it's existence. Although there was no tennis being playing during the week of the freeze, it sure was a pretty sight! Thank you for your patience as we had to close the clubhouse and fix busted pipes. We hope everyone stayed safe and didn't suffer too much damage.

Mixed Doubles is a fun and social league that is open to all our members. It takes place on Thursday nights at 7pm. It's a great way to get to know the other members and either play with your spouse or be paired up with another player. Each week you will play a different team. Afterwards we hang out and socialize over drinks and snacks.

Please contact Brandi for more information regarding Mixed Doubles.

Our online registration form will be available at the week of Spring Break

Happy Birthday to Samuel! His birthday was February 16th,
